We’re a Pilates workout program with apparently a lot of appeal. How excited are we! The Body Beyond Birth team are super pleased to announce we’ve made it to the finals of the Optus Small Business Awards for 2017. For us, this is the recognition of a lot of hard work, patience and exercise curriculum planning. We work hard to ensure you have the best possible quality experience and this sort of recognition means the world to us.
Where to now as Optus My Business finalists?
We’re definitely keeping some great company in our fellow nominees and the nerves are at an all time high. We’ll be popping on the glad rags and heading to the sensational Westin Hotel in Sydney on November 10th for a black tie event.
It’ll be a change from Pilates workout gear, that’s for sure. We’ll make sure you can see all the amazing photos of Becky and Jackie all glamour in their outfits. Maybe we can even get the audience doing a Pilates workout with us during the end of the ceremony- who knows!
We’re really looking forward to attending not only for the awards but for the opportunity to meet and mingle with all kinds of businesses and business men and women. We haven’t been this excited since visiting Channel 9!
Plus, hanging out with generous sponsors such as Qantas in the beautiful Westin will make it an event to remember.
If you like us, please reward us
We’re really appreciative of the nomination for the Optus My Business Awards. For small businesses and startups such as Body beyond Birth, these opportunities give us the ability to find a new audience. Gaining peer recognition with something as prestigious as the Optus brand over head means a lot.
As a Pilates workout program with a whole lot of heart, we know we bring something special to the table through the generous feedback we receive from our members. But it’s nice to have the business community sit up and take notice as well as show what women in business can do.
The kinds of opportunities that open up in these situations are:
- We get to connect with a new set of entrepreneurs and business owners we may not usually come across in our fellow finalists
- The nomination adds credibility with some customers that want to know that others value the product
- The press and coverage can be quite beneficial
- Prizes and networks and seals of approval all go a long way when you work for yourself
- It makes us feel great about the long nights, hard yards and extra homework
That’s why we encourage any of our members that find relevant awards or programs you think we would benefit from to nominate us or send them through to us. We admit we don’t always have our finger on the pulse of these things. Usually, we’re head down in the workload keeping Body Beyond Birth motoring along!
We know that some of you have come to us after the fact and said you would also have nominated us had you thought we were interested. We’re always interested in uncovering these sorts of awards and programs. We absolutely appreciate any nomination or heads up to their existence you can give us and welcome them with open arms. They make a huge difference to us.
So if you can spot any opportunities similar to the Optus My Business Awards for us to try or you think we’re worthy of a nomination, go right ahead! This Pilates workout team is ready for more awards action!
We’ll keep you posted as to all the Optus My Business progress and outcome via the official Body Beyond Birth Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Plus, we’ll post updates as they come to hand via the blog.
